Warm-up 🔁

Before the new story, let's bring back your words from the lessons before. The ones ready to review are waiting here — a little today, a little in a few days.

What do you like? 📖

Read it slowly. Say the words out loud.

Mia, Tom and Rosa sit together at the café in the evening, chatting warmly with cups on the table.

It is evening. Mia, Tom and Rosa are at the café. They talk and laugh together. 🌆

"I like this café," says Mia. "I like coffee. And I love the music here!" 🎵

Tom smiles. "I love a good film," he says. "But I don't like cold weather!"

Rosa laughs. "I like to cook," she says. "I love to make coffee for my friends."

"I like a good book too," says Mia. "And I like to walk in the park."

Mia smiles happily, with small friendly icons around her of the things she likes — coffee, music, and a book.

Mia looks at her friends. She feels happy and warm. 😊

"I like this city," she says. "I like my new life!"

Notice: we say I like for happy things, and I don't like for the others. I love means I like it a lot. Learn the words next.

Act it out 🎭

Now YOU are in the story!

🎬 The scene: Evening at the café. You sit with Rosa. There is music, coffee, and time to talk.

Round 1 — you are Mia

Your teacher is Rosa. Speak your lines — don't write them.

Rosa: "Do you like coffee?"

You: (say yes — and say a thing here you love 🎵)

Rosa: "Do you like films?"

You: (answer — then ask her the same question)

Rosa: "Yes, I love films!"

You: (say two more things you like 📖 🚶 — and ONE thing you don't ❄️)

Rosa: "Me too, Mia!"

You: (say what you love the most 😍)

Round 2 — swap!

Now YOU are Rosa, and your teacher is Mia. But this time you talk about food and cooking, not films and music.
