Warm-up 🔁

Before the new story, let's bring back your words from Lessons 1 and 2. The ones ready to review are waiting here — a little today, a little in a few days.

Across the bridge 📖

Read it slowly. Say the words out loud.

Mia jogs across the old stone bridge in morning mist, ducks flying past.

Every morning, Mia goes for a run. She loves the quiet town. 🏃‍♀️

She runs across the old bridge. The ducks fly past her. 🦆

She runs through the green park. The grass is wet with morning rain.

Then she runs up the big hill. It is hard! But she is strong now.

Mia jogs up the hill with the castle above her, sunrise behind.

At the top, she can see the castle and all the town. It is beautiful. 🌅

She runs back down the hill and home. Now she is ready for the day.

"A run in the morning is the best," says Mia. ☀️

Notice: little words show how we move: across a bridge, through a park, up a hill, past a shop.

Act it out 🎭

Now YOU are the runner — tell your friend about your morning route!

🎬 The scene: The café, after Mia's morning run. Tom wants to start running too, and he has questions.

Round 1 — you are Mia

Your teacher is Tom. Speak your lines — don't write them.

Tom: "You run every morning! Where do you go?"

You: (tell him the first part of your run — the bridge and the park, with your little movement words)

Tom: "Nice! And then? Is it hard?"

You: (tell him about the hill, the top, and what you can see there)

Tom: "Beautiful! Can I come with you tomorrow?"

You: (say yes, then tell him the way home — the hill again, and a place you go by)

Round 2 — swap!

Now YOU are Tom, and your teacher is Mia. But this time you describe a different route — your walk from home to the café.
