Warm-up 🔁

Before the new story, let's bring back your words from Lessons 1 and 2. The ones ready to review are waiting here — a little today, a little in a few days.

Every Saturday 📖

Read it slowly. Say the words out loud.

Mia and Tom in light rain jackets stride through the park with two cheerful elderly neighbours.

Tom starts a walking club. "Come with us, Mia!" he says. 🥾

"How often do you walk?" asks Mia. "Every Saturday," says Tom.

Mia joins the club. Two kind neighbours come too. They walk through the park.

Now Mia walks twice a week — with the club, and on her morning run. 🏞️

Mia proudly adds a star sticker to a little habit chart on her fridge.

She puts a little chart on her fridge. Every walk, she adds a gold star. ⭐

"How often do you exercise?" Rosa asks Mia. "Three times a week now!"

Mia feels strong and happy. And she has new friends, too. 😊

Notice: we ask How often…? and answer with every day, once a week, twice a month, three times a year.

Act it out 🎭

Now YOU are in the story. You feel strong and happy — tell Rosa why!

🎬 The scene: The café, after your Saturday walk. Rosa sees your big smile and wants to know everything.

Round 1 — you are Mia

Your teacher is Rosa. Speak your lines — don't write them.

Rosa: "Mia, you look so happy! What is new?"

You: (tell her about Tom's group — say what it is and who walks with you)

Rosa: "Lovely! How often do you walk with them?"

You: (answer with the day, then say how many times a week you walk in total)

Rosa: "And how do you remember all your walks?"

You: (tell her about the paper on your fridge and the stars — say how often you add one)

Round 2 — swap!

Now YOU are Rosa, and your teacher is Mia. But this time YOU ask the questions — find out how often Mia cooks, reads, and sees her neighbours.
