The Impossible Challenge
Let's see what your brain can do right now...
Your Mission

You will see 8 famous people and what they did. You have 45 seconds to memorize them. Then they disappear. Ready?

The Secret
Your brain isn't bad at memory. It just needs the right system.
The Problem

Your brain is terrible at remembering lists of words. Names, dates, facts -- they just fall out.

But your brain is incredible at remembering pictures, stories, and weird things.

The Trick

Every name starts with two letters. Those two letters match a creature from the Bestiary -- an ancient book of beasts.

You turn the name into a creature. Then you make the creature DO something connected to the person. The weirder the picture, the stronger the memory.

Try It -- Type a Name
Type a name to see its creature
Example
*
DA = Dalmatian
Da Vinci -- picture a Dalmatian painting the Mona Lisa with its paw, tongue out, getting paint everywhere
*
EI = Eider (a sea duck)
Einstein -- picture an Eider duck with crazy white hair, scribbling E=mc2 on a blackboard with its beak
Build Your Scenes
Today: 5 people you'll actually want to remember. Write a scene for each one.

Today we're learning about 5 people who changed the world -- and you're going to remember all of them using the bestiary.

Writing tip: The best memory scenes are specific, weird, and use action. Don't write "A fish swims." Write "A fish slaps a calculator off the desk with its tail, and numbers fly everywhere."
Your Memory Chain
Look at what you built. Five people, five creatures, five scenes -- all connected.
Your Chain
Lock It In

Read through your chain once. Picture each scene in your mind. Make it vivid -- see the colours, hear the sounds, feel the weirdness.

The Test
No peeking. What do you remember?
Round 1: Creatures to People

I'll give you the creature. You tell me the person.

Your Story
You've written 5 scenes. Now connect them into one wild story.
The Challenge

Your 5 creatures meet each other. Write a short story where one scene leads to the next. Use connecting words to link them.

Connectors to use: "Suddenly..." / "Meanwhile..." / "Just then..." / "Without warning..." / "At that exact moment..." / "But little did they know..."

Write Your Connected Story

Use your 5 scenes but connect them together. The weirder the better. Aim for 80+ words.
