Reading: Expressing Agreement and Disagreement

In conversations, you agree and disagree with people. It is okay to have different opinions. It is important to express your views politely.

You can agree by saying "I agree with you" or "You're absolutely right." You can say "Exactly!" or "That's what I think too!" Strong agreement shows enthusiasm.

You can disagree politely. You can say "I disagree" or "I don't think so." You can also say "I see your point, but..." This shows respect for their opinion while showing your own.

Use "but" or "however" to introduce your different opinion. You say "I agree, but I also think..." This shows you listen and respect them.

Good conversations have different opinions. People learn from each other. Express your agreement and disagreement clearly and politely. This is an important communication skill.
