Warm-up 🔁

Before the new story, let's bring back your words from the lessons before. The ones ready to review are waiting here — a little today, a little in a few days.

Mia's photo 📖

Read it slowly. Say the words out loud.

Mia and Tom sit with coffee at Rosa's café. Mia shows Tom a small family photo.

It is a warm afternoon. Mia and Tom drink coffee at Rosa's café. ☕

"Tell me about your family, Mia," says Tom.

Mia smiles. She takes a small photo from her bag.

"This is my mother. This is my father," she says.

A warm illustrated family photo: a mother, a father, and two sisters, all smiling.

"And these are my two sisters. They are at home, far away."

Tom looks at the photo. "What a lovely family!" he says.

Mia misses them a little. But she is happy. "Yes," she says. "I love them." 💛

Notice: Mia says This is for one person, and These are for more people. Learn the family words next.

Now YOU are in the story!

🎬 The scene: A warm afternoon at Rosa's café. You drink coffee with Tom. You have a small photo in your bag.

Round 1 — you are Mia

Your teacher is Tom. Speak your lines — don't write them.

Tom: "Tell me about your family."

You: (take out your photo 📷 — say what it is)

Tom: "Who is this?"

You: (point 👩 — say who she is)

Tom: "And who are they?"

You: (point 👧👧 — say who they are)

Tom: "What a lovely family!"

You: (say thank you — point 👨 and say who he is)

Round 2 — swap!

Now YOU are Tom, and your teacher is Mia. But this time the photo is Tom's family — a mother, a father and two brothers.
