Warm-up 🔁

Before the new story, let's bring back your words from the lessons before. The ones ready to review are waiting here — a little today, a little in a few days.

Come and see your town 📖

Read it slowly. Say the words out loud.

Tom shows Mia the little town from a gentle hill: a park, a bridge over a river, a small station and cosy streets below.

It is Sunday. Tom knocks on Mia's door. "Come with me, Mia. Today I show you our little town!"

They walk up a small hill. From the top, Mia sees everything. "Wow!" she says.

"Look," says Tom. "There is a park. There is a river. And there is a bridge over the river."

"Is there a station?" asks Mia. "Yes, there is. A small one. One train in the morning, one in the evening!" Tom laughs.

They walk down the hill and along a quiet street. "There are two cafés in our town," says Tom. "But Rosa's café is the good one!"

Mia and Tom sit on a park bench under a big tree, ducks on a pond in front of them.

In the park, they sit under a big tree. "There are ducks on the pond!" says Mia. "One, two, three… seven ducks!" 🦆

Tom smiles. "It is a little town. But there is everything here: a park, a river, good people."

Mia looks at the water. "Yes," she says. "And now it is my town too." 💛

Notice: Tom says there is a park (one thing) and there are two cafés (more things). This is how we say what a place has. Learn the words next.

Act it out 🎭

Now YOU are in the story!

🎬 The scene: Sunday, on top of the little hill. You can see the whole town. Mia looks and says "Wow!"

Round 1 — you are Tom

Your teacher is Mia. Speak your lines — don't write them.

Mia: "Wow! Tell me everything!"

You: (point — say two things you see 🌳 🏞️)

Mia: "Is there a station?"

You: (say yes — and say how small it is 🚉)

Mia: "And cafés?"

You: (say how many — two! — and say which one is good)

Mia: "I love this town!"

You: (say one more thing over the river 🌉)

Round 2 — swap!

Now YOU are Mia, and your teacher is Tom. But this time you talk about YOUR real town — Tom asks, you answer!
