Warm-up 🔁

Big day today — someone special is coming! But first, let's bring back your words from the lessons before. The ones ready to review are waiting here.

Ana arrives 📖

Read it slowly. Say the words out loud.

Big news! Mia's little sister Ana is coming to visit her. Today is the day! 🎉

Mia waits on a small train station platform, waving excitedly as a train pulls in.

Mia is at the station. She waits for the train. "Come on, come on!" she says.

The train arrives. The doors open… and there is Ana! "Mia!" "Ana!"

Ana runs to her. She gives Mia a big hug. 🤗

Mia and Ana hug joyfully outside the station, a suitcase beside them.

"Welcome!" says Mia. "Give me your suitcase — I can carry it for you."

Ana talks and talks. "Tell me everything! Your café, your friends — I want to see them all!"

At the café, Rosa smiles. "So this is Ana! Come in, come in. Sit with us."

Tom comes too. "Hello, Ana! Mia talks about you every day." Ana laughs. She likes him already. "Good things, I hope!" 😄

Notice: the little words me, her, him, us, them — "Give me your suitcase", "Ana runs to her", "Sit with us". They point at people. Learn the new words next.

The pattern: me, him, her, us, them 🧩

One word does the action. The other word gets the action. Each person-word has two forms:

I → me  ·  Ana hugs me.
he → him  ·  Ana likes him.
she → her  ·  Mia waits for her.
we → us  ·  Rosa says: "Sit with us."
they → them  ·  Ana wants to see them all.
She visits Mia. → She visits her.
I call Tom. → I call him.
Mia shows Ana the town. → Mia shows her the town.
Where does it go? After the verb: "Ana hugs me" ✓ — not "Ana me hugs" ✗. Small word, always after the action.

Now you 🗣️

My sister calls every week.

I have two good friends. I see on Saturdays.

My brother is funny. I like a lot.

Before you go

See you tomorrow. Ana is here — and your new words join all the others in your Warm-up. Little by little, they become yours forever.

Act it out 🎭

Now YOU are in the story — on the platform, on the big day.

🎬 The scene: You are at the station. The train arrives, the doors open… and there is Ana!

Round 1 — you are Mia

Your teacher is Ana. Speak your lines — don't write them.

Ana: "Mia! Mia! I am here! Oh, I am so happy!"

You: (say the word for when someone arrives — give her a big hug, and ask about her train)

Ana: "The train was so slow! And oh — my suitcase is very big and heavy."

You: (offer to carry it for her)

Ana: "Thank you! Now tell me — Tom, Rosa, the café! I want to see them all!"

You: (say she can meet them today — invite her to come with you to the café)

Round 2 — swap!

Now YOU are Ana, and your teacher is Mia. But this time you arrive on the bus, with two small bags — not one big suitcase.
